All animation in this video was done by Nicholas Yohe (Nick Yohe).

1. Gilgamesh: an animated short film adaptation of the ancient poem, The Epic of Gilgamesh. It combines a variety of different techniques including digital and traditional hand drawn animation, stop motion, live action video, charcoal drawing, photography, etc. It features a full cast of characters, voiced and performed by student actors, and a full score composed and performed by student composers and musicians. It tells a more abbreviated version of Gilgamesh's live and travels combined with themes of environmental awareness and a re-imagined ending to the tale.

2. How to Hook a Worm: a very short traditional hand drawn exercise demonstrating how to attach a worm to a fishing hook the proper way, mixed with a cartoonish aesthetic. (1 second) (24fps)

3. The Mysterious Object: an animated short film about a three dimensional object that enters a two dimensional, black and white world. The object is used for many things: for profit, for war, and for energy, but it eventually leads to the worlds destruction. The story is narrated by Nick Yohe and is represented through animated scenes that morph into each-other. (3 minutes) (8fps)

4. The Well: a disturbing animated short film about a small creature who is bullied into going down a well to retrieve a rotten doughnut by a larger creature. In the end, the larger creature traps the small creature in the well which prompts the small creature to say, "oh well". The characters are voiced by Nick Yohe. (2 minutes) (12 fps)

5. The rPET Story - Bottles into Tees: a web advertisement from Royal Apparel which demonstrated the process of turning recycled plastic bottles into teeshirts. The project was given to me as a GIF animation to be used in emails, but was later re-purposed for the use of this video. (originally the animation was at 12 fps that that was sped up for the video)

6. Candlestick Man: an animated short film that features a narration by Nick Yohe and a full score composed by a fellow student. It tells a disjointed story from the point of view of a man with a flame on his head. His story constantly interrupts itself with completely different and surreal events that happen in seemingly different lives. In all of them he is pushed around in some way until he isn't sure what is real and what is not.

8. Pond: an abstract film that contains animation. It follows a band of alien creatures as they perform strange music in different areas of a pond. The concepts of life, death, creation, and decay are explored in this film through video and sound to encapsulate the feeling of a place which is at the complete mercy of the wilderness.
