A exposição “Nets of Hyphae”, de Diana Policarpo e curadoria de Stefanie Hessler, estabelece relações especulativas entre as redes de fungos da cravagem e a saúde das mulheres. Desenvolvidos especificamente no contexto deste projeto, os seus trabalhos em vídeo, animação, têxteis e ambientes sonoros criam paralelos entre o ciclo dos fungos, a justiça reprodutiva e os conhecimentos de parteiras, curandeiras e agricultoras em precariedade e resistência.

Diana Policarpo’s exhibition “Nets of Hyphae”, curated by Stefanie Hessler, draws speculative connections between ergot fungi networks and women’s health. Her newly commissioned video works, animation, textiles and soundscape create parallels between the fungus cycle, reproductive justice and the expertise of midwives, healers and peasants in precarity and resistance.
