Sound and Music
Mutis is a tribute to the explorer and naturist Jose Celestino Mutis, a journey through an imaginary explorer’s notebook. Sanctus was one of 8 sound studios that Tigrelab selected to provide sound for their 8 imaginary creatures. We created a soundscape that inspired the design and animation of our creature Capillatus Libertas. Our goal of the piece was to write something musical but include sound design elements that would seamlessly and directly align with the movement of the creature.
