Play, download and edit the free video Musique Concrte Machine.
The Musique Concrète Machine makes use of a pendular mechanism designed to trigger eight "nodes" unpredictably. Each node accesses a bank of samples activated via magnetic reed switch. In addition, each node has its own dedicated amplifier and speaker. The speakers are arranged in a grid around the platform creating a spatial (overlapping) intersection of sound.
This documentation include a live audio recording of the machine in action. Each "performance" generates a new example of Musique Concrète.
