Choreography by Angie Simmons, performed by Evolving Doors Dance. This work was created during the summer of 2020 and presented in Oct, 2020, during the COVID pandemic, as an experiential walk-through at the People’s Building in Aurora, CO, a suburb of Denver. Strict COVID precautions were implemented as the work was presented for in-person audiences with staggered and small group entrances. Movement for this work was primarily set choreography, spanning 5-10 minutes for each solo or duet with 1-minute intervals of improvisation, and these sections were looped for a continuous experience for the dancers and musicians, a 15 to 30-minute walk-through experience for in-person audiences, and a 45-minute live-stream or pre-recorded performance for at-home audiences.
