EN | The Portuguese Football Federation is promoting a public art project, in partnership with several Municipalities and a collective of eight national artists. The project based on the “Conquista o Sonho”(Conquest the Dream) movement, recently launched by FPF, aims to inspire and motivate the Portuguese to pursue what makes them happy and the National Team to conquer the next World Cup.

In this project, the body that oversees the national football hopes to involve local authorities from north to south of the country, and counts on the collaboration of the curator Lara Seixo Rodrigues, creator of the project Lata 65 - Urban Art Workshop for Seniors and festivals Wool - Covilhã Urban Art, Estau - Estarreja Urban Art and Muraliza - Cascais Mural Art Festival.

The collective of artists selected by the FPF includes renowned names and talents emerging from the national urban art, with works elaborated from graffiti to stencil, going through all genres, aesthetics and techniques usually referred to as post-graffiti with contemporary influences of figurative illustration.

The pieces and murals to be developed under this project will be unique and unprecedented representations of the “Conquest the Dream” movement, without any profit and with the sole purpose of serving and inspiring the Portuguese, working in a more winning, ambitious and capable collective mentality.

PT | A Federação Portuguesa de Futebol está a dinamizar um projeto de arte pública, em parceria com várias Câmaras Municipais e um coletivo de oito artistas nacionais. O projeto arranca esta semana na Covilhã. Alicerçado no movimento “Conquista o Sonho”, lançado recentemente pela FPF, pretende inspirar e motivar os portugueses a perseguirem o que os faz felizes e a Seleção a conquistar o próximo Mundial.

Neste projeto, o organismo que superintende o futebol nacional espera envolver autarquias de norte a sul do país, e conta a colaboração da curadora Lara Seixo Rodrigues, criadora do projeto Lata 65 - workshop de Arte Urbana para idosos e os festivais Wool - Covilhã Arte Urbana, Estau - Estarreja Arte Urbana e Muraliza - festival de arte mural de Cascais.

O coletivo de artistas selecionado pela FPF contempla nomes consagrados e talentos emergentes da arte urbana nacional, com trabalhos elaborados do graffiti ao ‘stencil’, passando por todos os géneros, estéticas e técnicas habitualmente referidas como pós-graffiti com influências contemporâneas de ilustração figurativa.

As peças e murais a desenvolver no âmbito deste projeto serão representações únicas e inéditas do movimento “Conquista o Sonho”, sem quaisquer fins lucrativos e com o objetivo único de servir e inspirar os portugueses, trabalhando numa mentalidade coletiva mais ganhadora, ambiciosa e capaz.
