This is a short breakdown series about the simulation and LookDev of MindPalace.
This part shows the destruction of the protagonist in the end of the experience. The breakdown shows the particle simulations, the vdb representation, the lowpoly mesh, the raw unreal import and the final render with shading & lighting.
MindPalace is a realtime 6dof VR-Experience. I was responsible for directing (together with Dominik Stockhausen), LookDev, Shading, Simulation, Lighting and Modeling.
