Some updated extracts from the PhD work in progress of Millimation's Elefunk Minitop Experience (ME2) and an extract from the award winning film Tally Bloody Ho! Millie's work concentrates on the hand drawn. The medium is the message, the process adds to the purpose. The movement for the elefunks is taken from Eadweard Muybridge human action, observations from human circus performances and the elephant motion from the observed elephant behaviour of Pang Jim in Dusit zoo, natural action at Elephant Valley Project, Chiang Rai Thailand and from the scientific works observing elephants in motion of John Hutchinson at the Thai Elephant Conservation Centre. The narrative is playing with our anthropomorphism of elephants with the need to have elephants do human activities for our amusement. The music is from the Thai Elephant Orchestra recorded by Dave Soldier and Richard Lair, which I was present as an observer. This is work in progress for a six screen 360 panorama screening.
