ESTE ES UN TRAILER DEL FILME.

La idea de esta obra se originó a partir de ciertos conceptos inquietantes en el universo del artista M. C. Escher; se desarrollan situaciones coreográficas en escaleras del pasado y del presente, personajes diversos escalando, compitiendo, trepando para alcanzar un objetivo, el escalafón mas alto... para luego volver a caer. Una línea del tiempo y de vida, una metáfora fantasiosa construida a través de una metodología de edición geométrica, en estrecha sintonía con la música contemporánea del compositor mexicano Carlos Sánchez Gutiérrez. Esta obra fue realizada en la circunstancia especial de una residencia artística Arthur W Mellon en la Universidad de Washington en Seattle, la inspiración surgió por la variedad de escaleras que la ciudad despliega. Escaleras sin fin-2 ha sido creada para concebir un racconto "site specific" de movimiento en formato video.

THIS IS A TRAILER OF THE FILM.

The idea of this work, Escaleras sin Fin-2 (Stair/Cases-2), was originated from certain disturbing concepts in the universe of the artist M. C. Escher; choreographic situations are developed in staircases of the past and the present, diverse characters climbing, competing, climbing to reach an objective, the highest scale... and then falling again. A line of time and life, a fantasy metaphor constructed through a methodology of geometric editing, in close harmony with the contemporary music of the Mexican Composer Carlos Sánchez Gutiérrez. This work was made in the special circumstance of an Arthur W Mellon artistic residence at the University of Washington in Seattle, the inspiration came from the variety of stairs that the city unfolds. Escaleras sin Fin-2 has been created to conceive a story "site specific" of movement in video format.
