"Melting arms" is an elemental act representing when sun touches snow, turning into steam, and thereby becoming more tender, loving, and open. By contrasting the slow body movement and inner, somatic, dreamy movement, I wanted to represent a surrender or release by opening my arms, inviting, breath, movement, and serenity from the constricted, still, and rigid postures of the heavy winter season.
