Mater Art Community in collaboration with Prohibit No Tocar and with the production of The Good Good has been supported by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Fabra y Coats, Fabrica de Creacion.

The research process began in 2017 with the #yesofcoursewearemothers manifesto, created by Duae Collective. The intention has been and is to help initiate a social transformation, through extensive and in-depth research that can become a shared heritage for the entire artistic community.

Mater Art Community goes beyond the concept of a simple residence: it is an attempt to put some key issues at the center of debate and action, such as the possibility of reconciling motherhood, cultural work, economic stability, as well as the way in which we create. , exhibit and consume art, from a gender perspective, based on social and environmental benefits.
