This project describes how terrible procrastination is and it makes things worse.
Mandrake is the root of a plant; it is extremely poisonous and can induce a state of unconsciousness and delusion, which is somewhat identical to the feeling of procrastination. When a person is trapped in it, he or she might be overwhelmed by a sense of transient happiness and relief. Unfortunately, this delusion will disappear in the end and the outcome is not that satisfying.
At the beginning, the character fell in his delusion and he was not aware of that. As deadlines approached, his task had not been completed and he kept playing on his phone. In the end, he was trapped in a prison of his own making.
