"Lou Reed (1942-2013) was a great American songwriter, singer, guitarist, poet, the founder of The Velvet Underground with Andy Warhol. He also worked with David Bowie, Willem Defoe, Robert Wilson, etc.

For last 30 years of his life Lou Reed was a practitioner and master of Tai Chi, Chinese martial art and soft meditation in movement.

His wife Laurie Anderson has founded the Annual Lou Reed Tai Chi day, to be observed on August 3rd starting 2019. We have joined New York, Washington D.C, London and Paris on that very day, A Perfect Day."
