Salmon war – Lohisota: Artivist project with Satu Miettinen, Taina Kontio, Mari Mäkiranta and Melanie Sarantou to defend professor Vesa Puuronen against Kemijoki Oy and protest against new Sierilä power plant. Professor Puuronen was convicted of graffiti art to pay large fine to Kemijoki Oy (yle.fi/uutiset/3-11680307). Kemijoki Oy energy company destroyed indigenous salmon from Kemijoki and is planning to build new powerplant to Sierilä. Professor Puuronen painted graffiti at one of the Kemijoki oy buildings to protest against these actions. Miettinen at al. are doing this action for to collect funding to pay the fine and promote for returning the indigenous fish in the river and constructing passby for the salmon.
