If your company is action-packed, your logo should be just as energetic! Rosughan Company is a fictional performance theatre that does Renaissance faire sword fights. I wanted to imply a battle without depicting it blatantly, so I used a criss-cross motion for the swords. To create visual interest with a few objects and mostly text, the swords were used to create a "write-on" effect for the company's name. A bouncing flag and accent dots keep the animation family-friendly and fun.

A logo helps people identify your brand but adding motion can make it memorable. Having an animated logo can evoke an emotion in your potential clients/customers. That emotion is what gets them invested in you. As I continuously look for ways to serve my clients and improve their brand identities, I'll be incorporating lettering and logo animation into my services in 2020.
