My project is a short dance animation. The genre is hip hop. I filmed a video of me dancing and I converted that into an animation. I conveyed what I felt towards the music through the dance and I tried to portrait the music into the backgrounds. I used oil pastels and abstract painting brushes in procreate for the backgrounds and for the dance I used a simple figure. I’m a dancer but also I’m an artist. I always thought I would be a famous dancer and I would be successful in the field. However, things have changed alot in my life and I completely changed my mind. Now I want to be an animator and my time was spent more on school since I changed my mind. So by using this opportunity I wanted to prove that I’m still passionate in dance and that is the reason why I chose this particular project.
