Lettres Ambulantes est une interprétation vivante et mouvante de la typologie « Bawhaykal » créée par Issam Smiris.
Pour cette pièce, Jelïn Nichele s’est concentré sur la partie arabe de la typologie « bawhaykal ».
Les costumes ont été choisis en reférence à l’installation « Corps Flottants » de Yassine Rachidi.
Les lignes simples sur le corps du danseur (Yassine Rachidi), dessinent les lettres en mouvement simples. Ce court video a été créé en 3 jours intenses à Tunis dans le cadre de l’exposition Utopia célébrant les 100 ans de Bauhaus.

Lettres Ambulantes is a moving interpretation of Issam Smiris artisticly created Typeface ”Bawhaykal“. For his Work Jelïn Nichele focused on the arabic half of the font.
The costumes were chosen as a reference of Yassine Rachids Artwork ”Corps Flotantes“.
The simple lines on the performers body (Yassine Rachid) draw the movement in space and evolve to a body themselve.
The film was created in three very intense days in Tunis for the Utopia exhabition celebrating 100 years of Bauhaus.
