A student project: Introducing various design elements (logos, text, illustration, photography and video) to create a main movie title for a specific motion picture Focus is on layout, appropriateness, organization and production.
For this project, I chose a favorable French action crime thriller film in the 90's. A low contrast palette was applied to resonate with the film's melancholy and seriousness. To offset the monotony that the low contrast palette could bring, double exposure effect was used to create more tension and excitement. Old film scratches were also implemented to add texture and to help create a dated look for this 1994 film.
