We met Leal last Summer in Brooklyn, and I was just immediately taken by her elegance and almost ethereal energy. She really is a unique individual who I have had the pleasure now of working with on several projects. She isnt someone who necessarily categorises herself in any bracket and is more of a solitary character moving through the city on the fringes of different worlds.
This piece is a sort of diary entry for Leal - a glimpse into her thoughts on the emotion of movement and dance.
