At Rural Works we have an infectious passion for helping those within the Rural Communities of New Zealand learn to help themselves......to improve their own health, wellbeing, and physical fitness.

We look at mental and physical health and wellbeing, fitness and nutrition as an integrated system, and believe in tailoring our advise, programmes and treatments to the specific demands of Rural life.
Working with Shearers, Farmers, Equestrian Athletes and Rural Communities we are whole-heartedly enthusiastic about promoting the huge benefits that a combined approach of Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy, movement enhancement exercises, Pilates and guided exercise can have upon those in any walk of life.

Knowledge is power! Educating our clients about the phsyical demands and movement patterns of their rural industries, and teaching them self-treatment and movement enhancement exercises we help them take ownership over their own, and their families and communities long term health, wellbeing and movement.

We believe a key factor to providing top class and effective care for those within our rural industries and sports is for our practitioners and health care providers to understand the physical requirements and biomechanics of these industries. This helps give knowledge to then further educate clients and patients about how to look after themselves and improve their own health, wellbeing and movement alongside the support provided by our health care system.
