Markus is currently a Senior Animator II at Blizzard Entertainment, focusing his time on Gameplay Animation for Heroes and Progression Content for Overwatch 2.
With 14 years of experience, Markus has had the pleasure of working on Games such as Bulletstorm, Anthem, Wolfenstein - The New Order and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, working and living in many different countries like Sweden, Poland, Canada and USA.
His focus and passion is and has always been to use Animation as a tool to convey satisfying gameplay and fun mechanics while pushing character appeal and story.
When not animating, Markus is either enjoying some gaming or binging anime. He has also lately found great enjoyment out of Rigging and Python scripting to improve animation workflows.
Markus hopes to share his experience and knowledge from game development to help you become even stronger in your fundamentals and how you think about game animation while simplifying the technical challenges of games.
