Project: The creative industry has an important role and responsibility with regards to finding solutions for major social themes. That’s why we accepted the What Design Can Do invitation to take part in #NoMinorThing: a challenge to help combat the sexual exploitation of children. Many people believe that sexual exploitation of minors doesn’t take place in their immediate circles. Personal stories are an effective way of breaking down prejudices and raising awareness. We created See Me Now which confronts professionals with these stories, with the aim of making them aware of the problems of sexual exploitation. The platform also offers scope for action: professionals can find a list of signs, ask questions in an automated chat and can be led to a care coordinator or the Coordination Centre Against Human Trafficking. Who will partner up to realise this project?
