We honor the prophetic leadership of Opal Lee, 94, of Ft. Worth, TX who became known as the grandmother of Juneteenth as she drove the campaign over several years resulting in President Biden’s signing of a bill into law this week.
But did you know Juneteenth has been a state holiday in Massachusetts since 2007.
