For this project I chose to use split screen to display the use of the four different elements water, wind, earth, and fire using items inside my studio. I initiated each element with an action followed by a split screen pop up that displays the element in use. For water I chose to initiate the action with my kitchen sink followed by water being drained to resemble its usage. For air I chose to initiate the action with the activation of the air conditioning, followed by a shot of shirts that are being dried by air to show its usage. For Earth I chose to initiate the action by showing a hand come to surface, as its usage is the actual moment of touch which I feel resembles Earth because everything we touch is essentially Earth. Lastly, I chose to initiate fire simply with a lighter and show its usage through a candle.
