Journey2Unity is a youth-driven creative project about immigration in America, developed by Arts Street@YEA Summer Interns. The project is under the umbrella of Youth Employment Academy and received an Arts in Society grant in 2018.
Journey2Unity Engaging youth in the La Alma/Lincoln Park and Globeville neighborhoods of Denver increative projects to explore the potential to change negative opinions about immigration.
Summer Interns learned new media, journalism and artistic skills, and together they created a series of podcasts and video interviews with local residents, documenting their stories of immigration, community, movement and finding home.
