Breakdown:
Cube Extrusion: 0:05 This is a shot from my graduation thesis. The base motion comes from a python script I wrote for Maya with the black section being procedurally generated in Houdini. The shot is rendered with Renderman and composited in After Effects.

Space: 0:10 Also from my thesis film. Created in Houdini and rendered with Renderman this is a collection of particle systems and animated shaders composited in After Effects.

Diffusion-Limited Aggregation: 0:20 From my thesis film. A recreation of the phenomenon of diffusion-limited aggregation in Houdini, rendered with Renderman and composited with After Effects.

Extrusion Destruction: 0:28 Scripted animation using the Maya python library. Rendered using Maya Software. You can see the full video at vimeo.com/217427452 and the script at github.com/JohnENoonan/ExtrusionDestroyer

Organic Electrical Growth: 0:47 Shot from my thesis. Procedural animation made in Houdini, rendered with Renderman and composited in After Effects. The geometric deformation drives the particle system that supports it.
