This is a ‘by’ product from digitally capturing some of the hand painted student film on a Steenbeck it has been captured on a super-low frame rate and has then been retimed, like I said this is purely analogue from 16mm film, this section was cut from the final film submitted by the students for the Nahemi-Kodak Commercial awards 2020.
It fits really well with the theme for this ‘final’ loop de loop and it is actually a loop of film. The inks were laid on the film by Faye Craig, the film was captured by Terry Wragg of the Leeds Animation Workshop and myself, then I re-edited it to ‘fudge’ the timing - its a bit different but I HOPE THAT YOU LIKE IT!
