After the Academy Award winning success of "Peter & The Wolf" in 2006 (which I had the fortune to work on earlier in my career), the producers cooked up another project again in Poland, this time featuring the music of Chopin, and the talents of the famous pianist "LangLang" (I probably spelled that wrong). To nobody's surprise, being a mix of live action and stop-motion, it was a fairly catastrophic result in the end, with the stop-motion part being by far the better part. I was lucky in getting to animate a fairly self contained little sequence inside the shop, which in itself didn't turn out tooo bad. Keep in mind the puppets had no - ZERO - facial expressions at all ! nothing. The model making and sets again were superb of course.
