Lemurs are a unique lineage of primates found only in Madagascar. Eyes of the World Films was happy to produce this video for the Lemur Conservation Network (lemurconservationnetwork.org/) to introduce these remarkable animals in hopes that leaning about them will help people care about them and want to protect them. LCN unites over 50 conservation organizations working to protect over 100 species of lemurs across their island home in Madagascar. They aim to implement the crucial lemur survival action plan, protect lemur habitat, and save lemurs from extinction. Their members work closely with local communities in Madagascar, and strongly believe that in order to help lemurs, they must support the Malagasy people.
