This is a training video for my textbook 3D Animation for the Raw Beginning, Using Autodesk Maya, 2nd edition. This video includes bonus material that is not in the book. In this, the 9th video in the bonus material series, we compare two constraint mechanisms that can be used to control the animation of one object according to the animation of another object. In particular, we look at the Parent and Orient constraints and see how they can be used to animate a flock of birds so that all the other birds in a flock follow the movement of the lead bird.
