“During the late nineties i was impressed by a detail i found in an animated cartoon named Tasmanian Devil where whirlwinds turning at a high speed were simulated with very simple lines. That small detail inspired me to create a series of drawings that later became practically my whole work to this day. It is simply the simulation of movement, the simulation of a whirlwind, but in fact these elements are made very slowly, they require great concentration, for me it’s like a rest, i see them as a way to meditate”
