The holiday is observed in various cities and states throughout the country. At Stanislaus State, we celebrate the 3rd Annual Indigenous Peoples Day holiday with a series of events that include speakers and communities who will come together to learn, share, and appreciate historical and contemporary cultures of Indigenous peoples. This year’s theme is “Indigenous Sustainability: Protecting Land, Water, Human, and More than Human Kinships”
