My “ICE PORES” solo exhibition in December 2018 was based round a new iteration of my “Fairy Organs” series of hanging light sculptures. Inspired by the myth of the Fairies, beautiful and mercurial, as well as by the highly interchangeable nature of the contemporary digital persona, these modular works represent a realm of dangerous beauty. The light refractions within the installations create an infnite, mirrored space for the viewer to slip into self-refection. For the opening event, I will performed a spoken word and movement performance with artist Furby Queen, drawing the audience into a meditation through the guise of the feminine sorceress.
