Hues for Freedom is a photographic campaign that seeks to create and display a visual representation of the fight against social injustice that continues to plague our Communities of Color.
Every aspect of a movement matters, and for many, their ability to support is done behind-the-scenes by calling and emailing representatives, donating monies, and challenging discriminatory practices in their workplaces, schools and homes. Hues for Freedom gives everyone an opportunity to provide visual support of these marginalized communities while also providing financial support to the activist organizations that drive these movements forward. 100% of all proceeds from the campaign will be used to support these activist efforts.
Our goal is not to be a trend or a hashtag, but rather to create a sustainable presence that shows the beauty in unifying and the strength that we possess when we unite to fight for each other.
This is a visual representation of the power in our collective voice. This is us using our art to provide a voice to the communities that need to be heard. This is our stand against injustice.
The campaign is open for ANYONE who wants to participate.
Once the shoot location and date/time slots are released, you may book your 10-minute time slot. Shoots will follow social distancing and safety protocols, and will be scheduled to allow for sanitizing as needed. All personnel and participants will be required to wear masks during the check-in process, with removal only allowed during the shoot time and once distancing measures have been met.
Individual sessions: $25
Group of 2: $40
Group of 3: $55
(We cannot accommodate groups larger than three at this time)
