To perform the Dumbbell Concentration Curl…

- Sit on an exercise bench with your legs spread wide and knees out.

- Grab a dumbbell in one hand, and brace your elbow of that arm against the inside of your knee to support your arm and minimize swinging or momentum as you curl the dumbbell up.

- You can place your opposite hand on your other leg for balance and support as you do the exercise.

- Slowly curl the dumbbell up while keeping your body stationary and focus on using the muscles of your biceps to complete the movement.

- Pause for a second at the top of the curl to hold the peak contraction.

- Exhale as you lift the weight up, and inhale as you lower the weight back down.

- Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
