This is a three-minute short film cut from over 25 minutes of stop-motion clips. I filmed the clips daily in my home for 67 days straight from March 23rd to May 28th.

I was studying abroad in London when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. I left my program four months early with four days' notice. While I was abroad, I tried to film a stop-motion clip at every neat tourist destination I visited. To cope with the rapidly changing circumstances, I decided to film a stop-motion clip for every day that I was in lockdown.

Filament, or Fil for short, acted as my lockdown buddy. He enjoys coffee, books, and games. Though by the end of lockdown he was tired of staying at home, he knew it was the responsible thing to do. He loved finding new things to do with his unexpected time.

This project won the Humanity Forward Creative Arts Expo award for film, and was the runner up in the documentary category of the Film From Home Film Festival.
