HEBEL is a Palissimo Inc. production, commissioned by the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, developed in part during a residency at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, New York, NY and awarded through the Princess Grace Foundation-USA Works in Progress residency program. HEBEL was researched, developed and honed with financial, administrative and residency support from Dance in Process at Gibney with support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; created with the support of a Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship; supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, and Harkness Foundation for Dance; and funded in part by the Council for the Arts at MIT. HEBEL was made possible through a 2019 Movement Research Residency, funded by the Scherman Foundation’s Katharine S. and Axel G. Rosin Fund and supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. The music was commissioned by the Charles and Joan Gross Family Foundation.
