I'd like to share this montage of animations from the mobile/NS game "Hamsterdam: Paws of Justice", by Muse Games, of which I was the soul animator for combat.
My goal was to communicate the various controls and gestures intuitively through the animation, in a rediculous yet satisfying way to make players keep coming back for more.
This style of reel was experimental, so I apologize if the sequences are a little hard to follow and may leave you a little dizzy. I played with cutting through the moves so that it could feel like a continuous combat encounter.
I hope everyone enjoys watching the animations and playing the game as much as I enjoyed animating it.
