Join for the opening session of the Building the Decarbonized Grid Virtual Summit hosted by Grid Forward.
We will have remarks from Rep. Fitzgibbon & Sen. Carlyle on Insights from Washington State Legislative Action after the active recent session where they spearheaded important energy and climate actions including a low carbon fuel standard, carbon tax and energy equity bill, in addition to the Clean Energy Transformation Act that is now heading into compliance phases.
We will also hear from Laura Manz of Guidehouse on The Clean Energy Landscape in the West, providing us an overview of the decarbonization activities happening across the wider region and what we are poised for in the near future.
Finally we will have an update on the federal policy discussions around grid investments including via the infrastructure package from US Congressman Paul Tonko in a discussion with Karen Wayland of Grid Wise Alliance.
