A short film I directed for Greenpeace’s ongoing ‘Save The Arctic’ campaign, which imagines the consequences an oil spill would have on the fragile environment, through a series of 2D animated transitions projected onto ice.
Created in After Effects mixing rotoscoping and cel animation, we see the pristine white landscape become black as the oil seeps and engulfs the land, while the Arctic’s inhabitants like the Snowy Owl, Narwhal and Polar Bear struggle to live on.
