Greenpeace sent a brief to Kingston University Visual Communication Department (Illustration & Animation, Graphic Design) to create a campaign for three themes: 'Save the Arctic,' 'Tuna Fish is in the Extinction,' and 'Protecting Ancient Forest of the World.'
Our team responded to the theme of 'Protecting Ancient Forest of the World' with the idea of 'every 2 seconds, the football pitch amount of tree is removed.' Through calculation, it turned out that 112 football fields of rainforest have been destroyed by the time it takes the average person to cross Millenium Bridge in London. With this, we decided to run around Millenium Bridge as a green football jockey and to hand out tree-shaped medals with a message to raise awareness about the extinction of rain forests.
