Gnome - Assignment #4
For project 4, I chose to complete Assignment #4. I took the footage from the 2016 short animation Gnome from Omens Studios. I completely stripped the sound from the animation, and rebuilt everything from the ground up. To edit the project, I used Garageband and Premiere Pro 2019; both of these softwares were already downloaded on my Macbook Air.
I used some creative commons music and sound effects from YouTube and FreeSound. However, the majority of the sound effects were recorded by me using voice memo from my iPhone 6. I wanted to practice making foley sounds, so that is why I chose to use majority foley sounds. Garageband and the recorder device I used was not ideal for me, however, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, I worked with everything I had access to in order to create a decent sound design for Gnome.
