About the event
Göcsej Harci Túra is a small annual military event in Hungary where teams from different schools come together to a race competition to put their strength, stamina and knowledge to a test.
Furthermore, childen will learn about how to use and put together a gun, throw a granade and some tricks in close-guarter combat.
Idea
My task was to create a short trailer for the event.
I always liked movie and series title sequences so the idea was use minimal animation with a little typography design to tell the story.
Even if you don’t read the text you may have a little clue what is going on and what is the theme of this event.
First steps
When I got the brief I started to filter out important keywords to create 6-10 main styleframes for the whole sequence. For non-hungarian speakes the keywords I filtered out are:
world-wide pandemic, metropolis, riot, desease, doctors, laboratory, undead, stop the infection, isolated groups, bad radio signal, survivors, sanctuary
