Rotoscope animation made with indian ink on paper
for my forth-year graphic design project I chose to make a series of rotoscoped animations from Netflix original TV shows. The idea being that they would all be displayed along side one another so that the visuals and audio will mix together making it difficult to focus on any one animation.
The purpose behind this is to recreate the idea of a paradox of choice, due to not being able to focus on anyone animation. The paradox of choice is a modern issue that modern media outlets such as Netflix contribute to, where they provide to many options to the viewer making it much more difficult to make any decisions.
