For the Love of Judy is the title piece in a body of work exploring the mythologized tie between the funeral of Judy Garland and the Stonewall Riots in New York in June of 1969. Using found audio from personal tapes of Judy Garland, as well as found footage from both Garland's career and the gay liberation movement, this video collage attempts to pull together the history and mythology of Judy Garland and her relationship to the gay community.
