The pond at DHUB Barcelona (Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, 37)
Follow the Path examines the way in which emotional contagion influences collective behaviors. In this video installation, small animated swimmers are projected onto the waters of the pond at the Disseny Hub Barcelona site. The synchronized movement of these swimmers fuses chaos with geometric patterns based on the harmony of the spheres, evoking an ancient Pythagorean theory that the universe is governed by harmonious numerical proportions. Follow the Path explores the relationships between art, mysticism, and science, and reveals the limits of perception, knowledge processes and simulation of what is real.
