Pushing the rib cage down through the floor and tucking the pelvis under, send the feet out and in, only as far out as you can keep the torso rounded and pushing into the ground. Feet stay connected to the ground throughout the movement!
You should really be aiming to keep your torso locked into shape and the legs slide out and in indepently. Only slide your feet out as long as you can hold this shape. When your lower back begins to disconnect from the floor, stop here and slide your feet back up. Work the proper shape no matter how far your feet go out!
