For my exploration in Studio 1, I am interested in exploring what I already know how character expression and movement and animate it.

I used Adobe Animate to create this clip.

What I found most challenging in creating this was getting used to the Adobe Animate program, in particular the Onion Skin controls. I am used to Animation Desk, so adjusting to a new program was a challenge.

Something that I am proud of here is the fact that despite being only a second long, the expression in the character's face carries its own life and individual personality.

What I hope to learn from this exercise is an extension of this practice into larger, more dynamic movements. Ultimately, I want to be creating entire character bodies and interactions between multiple characters.
