Vorig jaar vond het eerste vooronderzoek van het projectidee LIJN in de multiculturele buurt Linie (Breda) plaats. Dit startte in eerste instantie als artistiek bewegingsonderzoek met als uitgangspunt: een voortschrijdende lijn van mensen die een wijk doorkruist. Obstakels op de weg werden gebruikt als aanleiding om doorheen, langs, over en onder door te bewegen, zodat de choreografie ontstond in relatie tot de ruimte. Een nieuwe ervaring voor velen wat veel aandacht trok en zo een effect kreeg op de hele omgeving.

Er werd een poging gedaan om zoveel mogelijk mensen uit de wijk te betrekken om deel te nemen aan het geschouderd lopen in een lijn. Tijdens dit experiment in de wijk ontdekte Dansnest dat zij met dit idee mensen kan mobiliseren, dat zij hen anders kan laten kijken naar hun eigen omgeving en vooral naar hoe zij omgaan met elkaar.

In 2017 the first preliminary study of the LIJN project idea took place in the multicultural neighborhood of Linie (Breda). This initially started as an artistic movement research with the starting point: a progressive line of people traversing a neighborhood. Obstacles on the road were used as a reason to move through, along, over and under, creating the choreography in relation to the space. A new experience for many, which attracted a lot of attention and had an effect on the entire environment.

An attempt was made to involve as many people as possible from the neighborhood to participate in shoulder walking in a line. During this experiment in the neighborhood Dansnest discovered that with this idea she can mobilize people, that she can let them look differently at their own environment and especially how they interact with each other.
