On Nov. 14, 2015 former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, was previously considered the greatest female mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter on the planet until she was knocked out and defeated with a high kick knockout by Holly Holm in 00:59 seconds during the second round of the women’s bantamweight title fight. Hazen and Evans engage in a durational video performance re-staging and re-figuring the fight with a movement that reflects the vulnerability of this loss in a sprit of empathetic persistence instead of public scrutiny.
